We have chosen a name! |
 Dear Family and Friends, Thank you to all who voted on the poll, Jeff and I have finally decided on a name! We are thrilled to announce her name will be Kira Simone Herrin. We felt "Kira" was a very strong and contemporary name meaning sun and light. And the middle name "Simone" was very sexy and sweet meaning to listen. Hopefully the baby will have both attributes and we are very happy to be able to call her by name. The Baby Shower date has changed, so please update your calendars!! The new date is Saturday November 19th, which will be at Aunt Anne's house in Edgewater. Invites will be mailed soon. I will be registering at Babies R Us, Baby Depot at Burlington, and Target. I'm looking forward to having some baby fun with everyone. Make sure to check out my website. I've added a few news articles and pictures from my latest sonogram. Click on the pictures in the gallery to enlarge it. I've also added a new poll so be sure to vote! This week I had my monthly doctor visit and 22 week sonogram. The baby is now one pound and is growing leaps and bounds. Kira got a full physical scan from head to toe. Everything is normal and she passed with flying colors. There are some great pictures of her face and hands as she cuddled up against momma's belly. The doctor said that momma is doing very well. I'm still on target with my weight. I've gained a total of 12 pounds since pregnancy. My blood pressure is 98/80 which is very good. I've added prenatal yoga and some cardio to my weekly workouts which have been approved by the doctor. All in all it was a great visit and I couldn't be happier. I have so much joy to share and can't wait to see everyone real soon. Stay tuned for future updates.
