See you at the baby shower |
 Dear Family and Friends, The countdown begins at 13 weeks remaining. I'm now in my third trimester. My latest doctor appointment reported a total weight gain of 17 pounds and 27 centimeter Fundal height (belly bump size). I'm still having very little pregnancy symptoms. Most recently I've experienced heart burn for the first time, but have been able to sustain by eating very slowly. I also have some trouble getting up and out of things, such as the couch, bed, and truck. I've eliminated anything that requires getting on the floor or bending down, as it is just too hard to get back up these days! My next appointment is lab work for the infamous glucose test, which I'm not looking forward to. After that, appointments will be every 2 weeks up to 36 weeks and then once a week up to delivery. Updates will be more frequent as I will try to inform everyone of my condition throughout the next few months. We are having fun planning the Baby Shower. Everyone should have received an invite by now, Nana (Aunt Anne) did a great job addressing them. Please be sure to RSVP with her by phone at 386-427-7491 or me by text, by this Saturday November 5th. Because I am a new mom I included several items on my registries in all price ranges so there were many options to chose from. Please be sure to remove the items from the registry once they are bought. I will be using the list after the baby shower for my last minute shopping as well. Check out my registries online, name is under Valerie Herrin. Babies R Us & Target. So far the big items I've purchased are the crib, swing, stroller, and thanks to Jeanine I now have a car seat! Also this Saturday November 5th at 10am we are having a brainstorming and planning party for the baby shower at Aunt Anne's house. If you would like to help with the party or would just like to visit to give us ideas you're more than welcome. Thanks to all who voted on the last poll. We have decided on a theme for the baby room, purple butterflies. The bedding set is on our registry feel free to check it out. It is absolutely beautiful in person. My baby bump is not much of a bump anymore, it is a growing baby and keeps getting bigger and bigger. We are very happy, but busily making plans to bring home not only the baby items, but the baby! I'm currently working on a birthing plan, and have not yet decided on a mid-wife, doula, or even an epidural if anyone has advice they would like to share please email me.
